For healthcare and care professionals
Referring to Revival Neuro Physio
Information for GPs, hospital and community teams, social workers and care providers who are considering home neuro physiotherapy for someone they support. We work alongside NHS and social care teams, not instead of them.
Who we are
Home neuro physiotherapy, alongside your team
Revival Neuro Physio is a private service for people living with the effects of stroke, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis (MS) and balance problems. Rishee Patel, a specialist neuro physiotherapist, visits people at home in Huntingdon, Cambridge and nearby villages.
The service is private and separate from the NHS and from Rishee’s NHS role. For many people we add regular practice at home to the care they already have, or continue it once NHS therapy has finished.
With the person’s consent, we are happy to share our assessment and plan with their GP, specialist team or community therapists.
What we offer
What the person gets
Every plan starts with their own goals. More about our work is on our services page.
Practice at home
We assess and practise on their own stairs, chairs and hallway, so progress carries over into daily life.
Family and carers included
Family members and carers can join in and learn how to help safely day to day.
Honest advice
If we think someone should see their GP or specialist team first, or that another service would suit them better, we say so.
Scope and limits
When we may be the right route
If you are unsure, call us and we will say honestly.
Often a good fit
- Stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, balance and falls
- A person who can be seen at home, by appointment, on a weekday evening or Saturday
- A person who is happy to self-fund, at £110 per session after a free call
- Someone who may benefit from more practice at home, alongside or after NHS therapy
Not the right route
- Emergencies or urgent medical concerns. Use 999, NHS 111 or the person’s usual team
- Same-day or urgent assessment
- NHS-funded referrals. We are a private, self-pay service
- Conditions outside our focus, for now
- Nursing, personal care or social care

How it works
How to refer
The person chooses to see us. We are a self-pay service.
Talk to the person
Check they would like to be referred, that they are happy to share their information, and that they understand the fee of £110 per session.
Send us a short message
Use the checklist above, then email or message us, or call. Please keep detail to a minimum. We can talk it through by phone.
We arrange a free call
We arrange a free 15-minute call with the person or their family to check whether our service suits them. See fees and insurance.
The person can also book the free call themselves on our booking page.

Questions
Questions from professionals
If your question is not here, call, text or message us on 07777 793832.
Do you take NHS-funded referrals?
Revival Neuro Physio is a private, self-pay service, separate from the NHS and from Rishee’s NHS role. The person pays £110 per session, after a free 15-minute call.
Do I need to send a full referral letter?
No. A short message is enough to start. A clinical letter or discharge summary helps if the person is happy for you to share it. We will say honestly if we think they should see their GP or specialist team first.
Will you tell me how the person is getting on?
With the person’s consent, we are happy to share our assessment and plan with you and the wider team.
What if the person is unwell or changing quickly?
A sudden change needs medical review first, and physiotherapy can wait until they have been checked. We are not an emergency service. Please use 999, NHS 111 or the person’s usual team.
Do you accept private medical insurance?
Insurance arrangements are in progress and not yet confirmed, so sessions are self-pay for now. We update our fees and insurance page as soon as details are final.
